The GSE Composite Index closed today’s session flat at 2,301.35 with a year-to-date return of 18.53% while the market capitalization stayed at GH¢58.08 billion.
The GSE Financial Index recorded no gains or losses, closing at 1,835.25 with a year-to-date return of 2.94% while the SAS Manufacturing Index remained unchanged at 1,486.08 with a year-to-date return of -12.65%.
Trading activity weakened as 1,359,723 shares valued at GH¢1,101,640 changed hands from 2,324,983 shares valued at GH¢2,136,255 in the previous session. MTN Ghana dominated trades by volumes and value, accounting for 50.65% of the total volumes traded and 58.14% of the total value traded.
We anticipate activity levels to increase.
