The GSE Composite Index began the week flat at 2,421.00 with a year-to-date return of 24.70% while the market capitalization stayed at GH¢59.33 billion.
The GSE Financial Index recorded no gains or losses, closing at the previous session’s level of 1,902.90 with a year-to-date return of 6.74% while the SAS Manufacturing Index remained unchanged at 1,446.56 with a year-to-date return of -14.97%.
Trading activity waned as 52,731 shares valued at GH¢136,452 changed hands from 816,114 shares valued at GH¢853,348 in the previous session. Cal Bank dominated trades by volumes, accounting for 37.93% of the total volumes traded while GCB Bank dominated trades by value, accounting for 66.65% of the total value traded.
