The movie which is based on the book by Sue William Silverman provides an honest and deeply chilling account of what it's like to suffer from a compulsion to look for love in what are most definitely all the wrong places.
In the film, Sue recounts an intensely personal account of her addiction following years of abuse. It details how her illness brought her to the brink of destroying her family life through a series of adulterous affairs. Sue's rapid downfall is only arrested when she meets the

Romance, comedy, drama and action is what M-Net promises viewers across Africa this month as the channel screens a host of international
blockbuster movies throughout June.
M-Net's June line-up kicks off with the ever popular romance fantasy drama TWILIGHT. Starring the beautiful Kristen Stewart and the ever sexy Robert Pattinson this is the first in the hit cult series about the trials and tribulations of two young lovers, one of whom is a vampire. When Bella Swan meets Edward Cullen at her new school, there is an instant connection. He's good-looking in a pale and cool kind of way, but Bella soon discovers that Edward is no ordinary 17-year-old. He's a vampire, one of a family of vampires who live near-normal lives in the town. Although
he only drinks animal blood, he is scared to get too close to her in case he loses control. Despite the danger, or perhaps because of it, romance blossoms, and it's not long before another vampire decides that if Edward won't take the first bite, he will. off into the wilderness to find an old lady's long-lost granddaughter.
Zach is a laidback male nurse who works in an old age home. Ben is his uptight lawyer friend, who has had a crush on his high school sweetheart
for years. When Zach's elderly patient asks him to find her long-lost granddaughter Heather, who just happens to be Ben's childhood crush, Zach
sees this as an opportunity to make two people very happy. Soon the two friends, accompanied by one of Heather's relatives, are heading into the

Staying with romance, this month also sees Heather Locklear and Robert Buckley team up to star in the romance drama FLIRTING WITH FORTY. Airing on Monday June 14 (23:00 CAT) the movie sees Locklear of Melrose Place and Spin City fame star in this older woman/younger man romance that should appeal to all romantics. Like the movie, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, the story revolves around a beautiful 40-year-old career woman who falls for a sexy young surfer while on holiday in Hawaii. On Friday June 4 (11:00 CAT) DStv audiences can tune in for the highly acclaimed Nigeria drama BITA DA KULI aka WHAT YOU SOW. This is a
captivating story about two young girls who manipulates one of their happily married friends to get divorced. However no sooner is the divorce
finalised and one of the girls starts dating the newly divorced husbandand then proceeds to marry him. But as the saying goes - what you reap you
shall sow and the young girls soon finds out what a high price she is about to pay. BITA DA KULI aka WHAT YOU SOW also stars Muhibbat Abdusalam

Meanwhile on Friday June 11 Sadiya Muhammed stars in TAGWAYEN MATA. Airing at 18:50 CAT the movie revolves around two intimate friends Zainab and
Tsahare who grew up in the same village. After coming of age the girls are forced into an arranged marriage, one in the village and the other one in the urban area. However things aren't always what they seem as the girls soon find out when they realize that they are both married to the same man.
Also on AfricaMagic Hausa this month, DStv viewers can tune in for FALALA aka BLESSING. Airing on Friday June 18 (15:10 CAT) it is about Dr Isa, a dedicated and trustworthy civil servant and loving husband. It was these qualities that earned him a nomination to study abroad however eve of his intended trip his pregnant wife is murdered. Now Dr. Isa is charged with her murder is subsequently found guilty and sentenced to death. On route to the execution the Dr. manages to escape and vows not to turn himself in
until he finds his wife's killer.
Rounding off the Sadiya Muhammed festival on AfricaMagic Hausa this month is the movie HAKKI which premiers on Friday June 25 (12:10) and also stars Abba El-Mustapha. Muhammed plays a woman who needs to prove to her husband that she is a good mother and wife contrary to what the villagers believe.
Staying with the AfricaMagic Hausa's actor's festival DStv viewers can also tune in for a host of movies showcasing popular Nigeria star Abba El-Mustapha every Sunday throughout June.
On Sunday June 6 (21:30) El-Mustapha stars in BINTA SUGA, the movie is about a mother who entrusts her daughter to her husband after the couple separate. Responsible for his daughter since a very young age the man has done his best to care for her. However now that she is older her mother becomes worried about the way in which he monitors and restricts her movements. This leaves the daughter faced with one of the most difficult decisions of her young life - stay with the man who has cared for her all her life or go to live with the mother she doesn't know and enjoy freedom.
