The people of Yeji in the Pru District of the Brong Ahafo Region, have been provided with a borehole fitted with pump at the cost of 7,000 dollars.
The project was financed by the Kharis Ministries International, a Church in Missouri in the United States of America (USA).
Reverend Elvis Sarpong-Kumankuma, a Minister in-charge of the Old Tafo True Worshippers Assemblies of God Church and a representative of the Kharis Ministries International in Ghana, made this known in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Kumasi on Monday.
He announced that the Church had also provided the people of Old Tafo in Kumasi and Mamponteng in the Kwabre District of the Ashanti Region with a borehole each.
Rev Sarpong-Kumankuma asked the Yeji branch of the Faith Assemblies of God Church to maintain the facility so that it could last longer.
Rev. John Mabou, a Minister in charge of the Assemblies of God Church at Yeji, commended the Kharis Ministries International for supporting development in deprived areas.
