Government is reaffirming its commitment to positioning the fashion and textile industry as a key driver of economic growth and export diversification. To achieve this, a comprehensive policy framework will soon be introduced to unlock the full potential of the sector.
The forthcoming policy will prioritize skills development and access to finance, aiming to strengthen the textile value chain and empower Ghanaian designers to compete effectively on the global stage.
Speaking on behalf of the Minister of Trade and Industry at the Business of Ghanaian Fashion Summit in Accra, Deputy Chief Industrial Promotion Officer Kwaku Ofori-Antwi said the initiative is designed to attract greater investment into Ghana’s creative economy.
