JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and professional Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, and providing reliable financial insights to support sound business decision-making.

KEY REPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting systems


• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements


• Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget versus actual performance


• Manage cash receipts, payments, and daily cash flow monitoring


• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly


• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections


• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements


• Prepare and file statutory returns including taxes, SSNIT, and other statutory obligations


• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations


• Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures


• Provide financial analysis and reports to management to support strategic decisions


• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions


• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information


• Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies when required
