Job Purpose
The Graduate Trainee – Customer Service supports the customer service function by ensuring efficient order processing, timely communication, and high-quality service delivery to clients within a manufacturing and production environment. The role is designed to develop practical skills in customer relationship management, order coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in processing customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, delivery schedules, and order status.
Liaise with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain and update customer records in the company’s system (ERP/CRM).
Support complaint resolution by logging issues, coordinating with relevant departments, and following up with customers.
Monitor order fulfillment and escalate delays or discrepancies when necessary.
Prepare basic reports on customer orders, service performance, and feedback.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and health & safety regulations
