· Strategic Account Management: Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and long-term relationships with key accounts.
· Sales Growth & Revenue Delivery: Achieve assigned sales targets, market share, and profitability for key accounts through effective negotiation, pricing, and portfolio management.
· Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospect for expansion into modern trade, general trade, and institutional channels.
· Customer Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong partnerships with key retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and institutional clients in Ghana’s FMCG market.
· Category & Channel Strategy: Develop category management plans aligned with consumer trends, market insights, and customer needs to ensure competitive advantage.
· Trade Marketing Collaboration: Work with trade marketing teams to design and implement impactful promotions, in-store visibility, and merchandising activities.
· Contract & Pricing Negotiation: Lead annual business negotiations, trade terms, contracts, and pricing agreements with major accounts to ensure win-win outcomes.
· Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with supply chain, finance, marketing, and operations teams to deliver seamless service and customer satisfaction.
· Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor account performance, sales forecasts, stock levels, and profitability; provide timely reports to senior management.
· Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, consumer trends, and retail dynamics in Ghana; recommend proactive strategies to sustain competitive edge.
· Credit & Risk Management: Ensure effective account receivables management, minimize credit risks, and support healthy cash flow.
· People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop account managers/sales executives to build a high-performing team culture.
· Innovation & New Product Launches: Drive the successful introduction of new products in collaboration with marketing, ensuring strong adoption within key accounts.
· Compliance & Ethical Standards: Ensure business practices align with company policies, local regulations, and ethical standards.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and partner forums to strengthen brand presence and corporate reputation.
