Job Summary
We are seeking a modern, dynamic, creative innovative and forward-thinking vice principal to join our unique team. The suitable individual must be abreast when the latest technologies in education and open to an exploratory way of teaching and learning.
Job Description
- Lead teachers and staff
- Set goals and ensure students meet their learning objectives.
- Work towards realizing the vision and mission of the school.
- Sit in on classes, host school assemblies.
- Oversee the school’s day-to-day operations - disciplinary matters, managing the school’s budget and hiring teachers and other personnel.
- Work directly and transparently with parents / guardians to ensure the success and welfare of pupils
- Create and sustain a safe environment for teaching and learning
- Draw up and oversee the implementation of pastoral care policies
- Draw up and oversee the implementation of all school policies in line with the vision and mission of the school
- Oversee the school’s logistics and term schedules,
- Ensure positive public relations with the outside world
- Organize and oversee all forms of school orientations: new pupils, new staff, new parents
- Conduct teacher and staff evaluations and decide on promotions and disciplinary measures for staff (with the support of Management Staff)
- Present reports, documents and other findings related to the management and success of the school on a regular basis.
- Ensure the school follows regulations set by local educational authorities and CIE.
- Coordinate the work of Sectional Heads and Director of Studies to promote growth in all sections of the school
- Report directly to the Head of School and the Academic Board of the school
