Role Overview
The Group Head of Housekeeping ensures impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and room
aesthetics across all hotels. This role involves standardizing housekeeping operations,
selecting premium toiletries and linens, and training staff to uphold the highest hospitality
standards.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement group-wide housekeeping standards, ensuring consistency
in room cleanliness and presentation.
• Develop and implement housekeeping SOPs for all properties.
• Conduct regular hotel inspections to ensure compliance with brand standards and
hygiene protocols.
• Work with hotel housekeeping teams to optimize room turnover rates and deep
cleaning schedules.
• Oversee the selection and procurement of cleaning supplies, linens, bedding, and
guest toiletries.
• Ensure quality and durability in all fabric selections, including towels, bathrobes,
and bed linens.
• Select soaps, shampoos, lotions, and room fragrances that align with the brand’s
luxury standards.
• Develop structured training programs for housekeeping teams, ensuring efficient
service delivery.
• Implement performance monitoring and feedback systems to continuously improve
service quality.
• Establish clear housekeeping workflows to improve efficiency in room servicing and
laundry management.
• Implement eco-friendly housekeeping practices, including biodegradable cleaning
products and water-saving initiatives.• Develop strategies to optimize housekeeping costs without compromising on
quality.
• Oversee laundry and linen management, ensuring cost-effective and hygienic
cleaning processes.
• Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas reflect the brand’s luxury and aesthetic
appeal.
• Develop turn-down service standards and in-room experience enhancements.
• Implement guest feedback mechanisms to continuously improve room quality and
service delivery.
