Direct Report to: Head of Hospitality Group

Role Overview

The Head of the Hospitality Development Technology Department will lead the planning,

implementation, and management of all technology systems and infrastructure in the

development of all Rock City Hotels. This role is responsible for ensuring that all hotel

developments are equipped with modern, scalable, and efficient technological solutions

that enhance guest experience, operational efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the department’s technology strategy in alignment

with the company’s hospitality development goals.

• Provide technical guidance during the planning, design, and construction phases of hotel.

• Ensure integration of smart building systems, automation, security systems, and guest

facing technologies.

• Oversee the selection and implementation of IT infrastructure including networking,

property management systems, and back-office platforms.

• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations and Admin) and external vendors to align on

timelines, budgets, and specifications.

• Stay up to date on emerging hospitality technology trends and innovations and evaluate

their application to current and future hotels.

• Develop policies, standards, and procedures for technology implementation across all

hotels.

• Manage and mentor technology development team.
