EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the field of human resources.
• Prior experience with a distribution firm would be an added advantage.

Our client, a leading distribution company is currently looking for a highly qualified individual to fill the role of a Human resources manager.
ROLE PROFILE
The Human Resources Manager will lead, direct and manage the day-to-day Human Resources and Administrative activities for the organisation, providing oversight and guidance to the development and monitoring of processes related to recruitment and retention, compliance, compensation, benefits, training and development. He /she will provide strategic guidance on human resources to the office.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, manage and oversee the recruitment and selection process.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Oversee all labour engagements for the organisation and manage the new hire orientation and exit process.
- Liaise with Kumasi Office in all HR-related matters
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other Issues.
- Manages all union interactions
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Monitor compensation to ensure internal equity, compliance and benefits.
- Coordinate with Finance Manager and Department Heads in the preparation of monthly Payroll.
- Advise Management on appropriate staffing levels and assist in budget preparation.
- Facilitate compliance with all statutory deductions & payments.
- Evaluate the need for employee training and development and make recommendations.
- Oversee the coordination and implementation of annual performance reviews
- Work with management to resolve employee relations issues pragmatically.
- Investigate employee relations issues and work to ensure human resources-related decisions are consistent and fair.
