JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Officer to assess the creditworthiness of clients, manage credit risk, and ensure timely collections. The ideal candidate will evaluate loan and credit applications, monitor accounts receivable, and contribute to the organization’s financial stability.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess and evaluate credit applications and financial statements of clients


• Conduct credit risk analysis to determine repayment capacity and credit limits


• Approve or recommend credit facilities in line with company policy


• Monitor client accounts to ensure timely payment and minimize defaults


• Follow up on overdue accounts and implement recovery procedures


• Maintain accurate records of credit transactions and client interactions


• Prepare regular credit reports for management review


• identify potential financial risks and provide mitigation strategies


• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth credit operations


• Stay updated on market conditions and industry trends affecting credit risk
