The Maintenance Supervisor at KFC is responsible for overseeing the upkeep and repair of all restaurant equipment and facilities, with a strong focus on minimizing equipment downtime. This role ensures that all kitchen and store systems operate smoothly through regular maintenance, prompt response to breakdowns, and effective coordination of maintenance tasks across shifts. The supervisor leads the maintenance team (if applicable), ensuring all work is done efficiently, safely, and in line with operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and perform day-to-day maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, and general facility upkeep.
Monitor and reduce equipment downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to avoid unplanned outages and prolong equipment life.
Conduct daily checks and inspections of critical equipment and infrastructure.
Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, including downtime incidents and repairs.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance work.
Support the restaurant team by identifying and addressing potential maintenance issues before they impact operations.
Train team members on proper equipment handling and minor troubleshooting steps.
Communicate maintenance priorities with the store management team to align with operational needs.
