Job Purpose

To inspect, maintain, and repair tanks and associated systems to ensure structural integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect storage, mixing, and processing tanks to identify defects, leaks, corrosion, or structural damage.


• Carry out repairs on tanks, including welding, patching, sealing, and component replacement.


• Perform routine maintenance on tanks, pipelines, valves, and fittings.


• Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failure.


• Ensure tanks are safe and fit for use before returning them to operation.


• Conduct pressure and leak testing after repairs.


• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.


• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.


• Ensure proper cleaning and preparation of tanks before and after repair work.


• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.


• Use appropriate tools, equipment, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of Senior High School (SHS) certificate or Technical/Vocational training (Mechanical, Welding, or Fabrication).


• 1–3 years’ experience in tank maintenance, fabrication, or industrial repair work.


• Basic knowledge of welding, fabrication, and mechanical systems is required.
