EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Must have a minimum of a High National Diploma (HND) in survey, social work, or a related field
• Must have a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant working experience in fieldwork, surveys, social work, or community outreach is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must be familiar with the town (Big Ada) and the surrounding communities.
• Ability to speak and engage in the local language (Ada) fluently and respectfully.
• Must own a smartphone with a camera and GPS capability.
• Ability to work independently and manage self-funded transportation.
• Must be respectful, empathetic, and culturally sensitive.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented.
• Must be a good listener and communicator.

Description
Our client, a partner in global sustainability, is seeking a dedicated individual to identify and engage stakeholders, including cattle ranchers, cassava processors, and households, in support of the company’s biogas project in the capacity of a Field Enumerator
ROLE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting field visits, collecting data, and building trusted relationships with community leaders to identify potential biogas unit adopters and women leaders for the Bioenergy User Association (BUA). He/she will perform these duties in addition to the following;
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and visit at least 50 cattle ranches and 15 cassava processing units across.
- Collect data on organic waste availability (cow dung, cassava peels).
- Conduct interviews with cattle ranch owners, wives, and women workers to assess leadership potential for bio energy user association (BUA) involvement.
- Map household clusters (70+ homes) still using charcoal or firewood for cooking.
- Build trust with queen mothers, elders, and traditional authorities.
- Introduce the biogas project and its benefits to stakeholders.
- Identify and assess local women leaders who could become bio-energy user association (BUA) champions.
- Use smartphones to collect GPS locations, photos, names, and contact information.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of interviews and findings.
- Submit weekly progress reports to the central project team.
