We are seeking an energetic and result-oriented Travel Manager / Business Development Manager in
Travel Industry to drive sales in B2B. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales,
travel / tourism and business development, with a passion for the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development: Engage in door-to-door visits of Travel
Agencies / Tour Operators per day.
Client Registration: Ensure to register travel agencies and tour operators
on our B2B portal to be certain of their constant bookings with us for hotel
accommodation, flights, and transfers.
Client Follow-ups and Education: Maintain regular follow-ups with clients
and provide necessary education and support to maximize their
engagement and satisfaction.
Daily Reporting: Provide daily reports or records of calls, visits, last follow-
up dates, and status updates.
Build and manage relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients,
and key partners.
Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets.
Monitoring market trends, competitions should be the executives.
Collaborate with marketing for campaign execution and lead conversion.
Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the travel
and tourism sector, backed by the strong network of references.
Negotiate and finalize contracts, terms, and agreements with clients,
ensuring both parties are satisfied.
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue.
Requirements:
Energetic, proactive, and result-oriented mindset.
Strong knowledge of premium products including GDS, airline, hotels,
cruise and tours.
Proven experience in business development and sales.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills (English).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a
related role.
Wide network of industry contacts, references and allies, who will play a
vital role in monetization of market opportunity, in the shortest span of
time from landing the job.
Proven track record of successfully securing and managing large business
accounts.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and data to
drive informed decisions.
Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners.
The work schedule is typically subject to customer demands:
The schedule is Monday to Friday, 12-14 hours, with remote work after
hours, as determined by client needs.
On Saturday, 10 hours, with remote work after hours, as determined by
client needs.
On Sunday, with remote work after hours, as determined by client needs.
Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and
as part of a team.
