During her Las Vegas concert, Katy Perry experienced a sudden wardrobe malfunction that interrupted her performance. As she was performing and moving across the stage, her bra came loose. This unexpected moment quickly caught fans’ attention.
Katy Perry experienced a major wardrobe malfunction during her Lifetimes Tour show in Las Vegas on May 17. While performing her 2010 hit “Part of Me,” Perry was running full speed along the stage runway, dressed in a reflective cone-shaped bra, matching high-waisted briefs, and thigh-high leather boots. Suddenly, her metallic bra came undone at the back, threatening to slip off entirely.
Perry quickly realized the malfunction and started strutting instead of running. While maintaining her composure, she announced into her microphone, “Oh s–t, my bra is gonna come off.” Rather than stopping the performance, she joined her dancers and began dancing with them. At one point, she turned around and twerked for the cheering crowd, the back of her bra visibly open.
Perry then walked to the side of the stage, where a crew member named Patrick rushed out to assist. With a laugh, she said, “Put my bra back on, Patrick.” The pop star added, “Sorry guys, you didn’t pay that much,” before resuming the show.
This incident comes amid a difficult time in Perry’s career. Her latest album, 143, released in September, received poor reviews. Meanwhile, her tour has faced setbacks, including a delayed start in Minnesota and numerous cancellations.
Perry’s Blue Origin space flight in April with Gayle King and Lauren Sanchez sparked criticism. According to recent reports, the singer has also been banned from returning to Resorts World Las Vegas for another residency, with the venue citing her last residency as a costly “disaster.” (via News Nation)
