Position Overview:
The Business Development and Sales Officer is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting the company's engineering solutions. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and active participation in the sales process to expand the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the engineering sector.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered successfully.
Sales Management:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor industry developments and stay informed about new trends and regulations.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide information and guidance to clients about engineering solutions and services.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with the engineering and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company and generate leads.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns.
