Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (required).
A Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance is an added advantage
Tax Certification from a recognized tax institute is a strong plus (e.g., Chartered Tax Consultant – CTC)
Membership in a recognized professional accounting or taxation body (e.g., ICAG, ACCA, CIMA)
5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 years focused on tax compliance and planning.
Experience in preparing and filing corporate tax returns, VAT, PAYE, and withholding taxes.
Working knowledge of Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) tax laws and filing procedures.
Experience working in a multi-entity environment or with consolidated tax reporting is highly advantageous.

Reports to: Director of Finance
Job Summary:
The Accounts Manager will oversee the entire tax function, encompassing tax planning, compliance, reporting, and other related activities to ensure optimal tax management and adherence to regulatory requirements across all business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all tax-related activities, including tax planning, compliance, and reporting.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities, exposure to tax penalties and fines and optimize tax benefits.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including income tax, value-added tax and other business related taxes.
- Provide tax advisory services to management and other departments on tax-related matters.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including tax returns, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure accurate tax provisions and compliance with financial reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during tax audits,
- Manage and resolve tax controversies, disputes and tax litigation.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate tax-related risks.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize tax-related processes.
- Provide tax training to management and other departments.
